【YouTube同時配信】OH！バンデス ミヤギnews every. つなぐ～震災から１４年～
津波が町を襲う中、職員が避難を呼びかけた南三陸町旧防災対策庁舎。去年町有化され、震災遺構として保存されることになりました。今回の番組はひとつの契機を迎えた南三陸町から、「OH!バンデス」MCのさとう宗幸と「ミヤギnews every.」キャスター柳瀬洋平を中心に、生中継とVTRを交え約3時間生放送でお届けします。
南三陸町旧防災対策庁舎からの中継では、南三陸町長を招き、旧防災庁舎の町有化を巡ってのお話を伺うほか、石巻からは震災遺構門脇小学校から発災当時の校長を招き、記憶と教訓をつなぐ思いをお伝えします。宮城県以外にも、能登半島地震の被災地となった石川県とも中継を結び、被災県同士の間でつながれた思いを伝えます。
また、番組では1年ぶりに能登半島地震の被災地となった輪島市へ。そこで災害支援に携わっていたのが、14年前に気仙沼市で被災した女性。輪島の未来を担う子供たちに東日本大震災の教訓を伝え、根付かせる“防災教育”に取り組んでいます。能登半島地震発災から1年が経過した輪島の現状と課題、人口減少が続く輪島で復興の“鍵”となる子供たちに、女性が今伝えたいことを取材しました。
県内では津波で子ども3人を亡くした石巻市の夫婦を取材。夫は発災後から震災の教訓を若い世代に伝える活動に取り組む一方、妻は子どもを失った辛い経験から、しばらくは伝える側に立つことができなかったといいます。それでもおととし、妻は震災遺構門脇小学校で解説ガイドとして働き始めました。時間の経過とともに変わる自身や周囲の状況、そして震災に対する思い。1組の夫婦が歩んだ14年間の現在地は。
このほかにも、日本を代表する海洋調査機関の研究によって見えた地震予測研究の最前線や、町の復興のシンボル、南三陸さんさん商店街のにぎわいをお届けする予定です。
3月11日の放送・配信を通じ、震災の教訓、人の思い、そして命を、次の世代に“つなぐ”きっかけになるメッセージを伝えていきます。

A: There is someone who continues to carry a deep connection to his hometown, Miyagi Prefecture, and is committed to passing on the memory of the disaster. That person is professional figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, a native of Sendai, Miyagi. Before the recent ice show held in Miyagi, we had the chance to speak with him about his thoughts.
Y: Obandesu!

Y: I always watch OH! Bandesu!!
A: That's wonderful to hear! Thank you so much!
Y: If you're a Miyagi local, you watch it, right? (while looking at the news anchor)
A: Oh…
Y: If you ARE a Miyagi local, you watch it, right? (laughs) (While looking at the viewers 😂)
A: Hearing that really makes me feel like, wow, Hanyu-san really is one of us, a true Miyagi local! That makes me happy.
Y: Right?
N: During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Hanyu returned to Sendai, and in 2022, he transitioned to becoming a professional figure skater. He shared some thoughts on what it's been like living in his hometown.
Y: Being in Sendai really makes me feel at peace. The food is delicious, and the air－the air you breath is just so familiar, it gives me a warm feeling.
A: Feels like a place you could truly call home, doesn’t it?
Y: I am living here! (laughs)
A: I bet everyone watching at home right now is feeling the same sense of connection! Right?
Y: Yes.
A: It’s been three years since you turned pro. Have there been any changes for you during this time?
Y: Let’s see… The fundamental desire to take on challenges and improve hasn't changed at all. Because people have expectations of me, I have a strong drive to continually exceed those expectations.
N: Even after going pro, Hanyu continues to evolve, undertaking challenges imbued with a special commitment to supporting disaster-affected areas.
Y: I will skate with heartfelt prayers for everyone, both those who have passed away and those who are still living.
N: The ice show Notte Stellata, led by Yuzuru Hanyu, has been held in Miyagi Prefecture around March 11 each year. Inspired by the starry sky he saw illuminating the disaster-stricken area that day, the show began in 2023 with the hope of bringing light and hope to many. This year marks its third edition.
Y: As time passes, memories of 3.11 inevitably fade, and yet, there are still regions that continue to need donations and support. I want to create opportunities, even in small ways, for people to remember and reflect on those still in need.
A: For the first and second editions of Notte Stellata, what kind of emotions and messages did you put into each performance? How do you feel about them now?
Y: For the first show, it was held on the exact anniversary of 3.11, in a venue that, for us Miyagi residents, carries a very heavy meaning. (It was used as a temporary morgue after the disaster.) That weight was something I deeply felt, and I found myself overwhelmed with sadness. The entire show was about embracing that sorrow and standing beside those feelings.
Then, for the second year, I realized something—if I let myself stay in that sorrow, then all I could express would be sadness, and that’s all people would receive. So instead, I wanted to show a way forward. I wanted to share moments of moving ahead, of smiling together, and send that from this venue to the world.
Now, in this third year, I hope to show something even more—just like how we have all stood up and moved forward since 3.11, I want to express the bonds we’ve built and the hope that we continue to share.
N: It has been 14 years since that day. "Because we are the ones still living, there must be something we can do for those who were left behind." Hanyu believes that his role is to continue being a bridge that connects the past to the present.
Y: Little by little, I feel like the rawness of those memories is fading. That’s why I want to continue being a presence that helps pass down those memories and keeps the cycle of support going. When this time of year comes, I, too, feel an overwhelming sadness, and when I recall those days, I can’t help but feel tears welling up. But even so, I want to keep smiling, to keep moving forward, and to continue bringing hope. Through my skating, I want to support and encourage all of you.

羽生選手の存在の大きさ、ご自身こそ辛い思いをたくさんされたのに、こうして被災地や被災者に寄り添っていただく覚悟が伝わってきました。
このインタビューのように、きっと等身大の羽生選手は穏和でお茶目な方。
でも、いざ「スケート」と「復興支援」という目的をもって進んでいくときは、努力や集中力にも長けている方。
今後も羽生選手を応援しながら、いろいろな支援ができたらと思っています。

nottestellata2025から昨日戻ってきました。大震災の事を忘れたい人、忘れないで欲しいと願う人、様々な方々がおられると思います。でも、忘れたい人たちの気持ちが理解できても、これで終わりとすることは出来ないですし、また同じようなことが起きない保証もありません。辛くても、何が起こったのか、どうすれば少しでも命を守ることが出来ただろうかとか、地震の後の世代にも、正しく引き継いでいかなければならないと思います。
この辺りは、昔津波に襲われた危険な地域だから、住むには適さない場所だと知らずに、住んでいた人たちもおられたと聞きます。そういうことを、確かに記憶と記録に確実に残していくべきだと思います。決して、同じことを繰り返すことがないように、決して風化させないようにという、その羽生くんの被災地に対する想いが、どれだけ尊いものか、他の誰も、そんな重い役割を引き受ける人はいないと思います。少しでも輪を繋げていこうと、自らの意思で寄り添っていこうとされていることがどれだけ大変な事か、1人で背負えるものでは決して無いので、わたしたちも支援を、出来る範囲でいいので、続けていくべきだと考えています。もちろん国をあげてやるべき最優先事項の一つであることは、いうまでもありません。

当時、私は被害など無かったに等しい関東でしたが、それでも当時の事を思い出すと苦しくなります。主人は高層ビルで揺れて死ぬ覚悟をしたそうでそれだけでも思い出し苦しい…と。 震源に近く被害が大きすぎた皆様の苦しみは本当に想像以上で消える事はないと思います。 自分語りが過ぎましたが、大切な命と生きる事の勇気と力に頭が下がる思いです。 被災地の事を語り継ぐ方々の未来への子供たちへの希望や愛も見ました。
