［３０日 ロイター］ – ソフトバンクグループ(9984.T), opens new tabが米オープンＡＩの最大４００億ドル規模の新たな資金調達ラウンドを主導する方向で協議していると、複数の関係者がロイターに明らかにした。調達後の評価額は３０００億ドルになるという。
非上場企業の単一の資金調達ラウンドとしては過去最大規模となる可能性がある。
関係者によると、ソフトバンクＧはオープンＡＩの調達前の企業価値を２６００億ドルと評価するタームシートを提示。これは数カ月前の前回の調達ラウンドでの評価額１５００億ドルを大幅に上回る。
資金調達は前回と同様、転換社債の形で行われる見込みで、オープンＡＩの非営利組織による支配を排除するための事業再編が条件となっている。
両社はコメントを控えた。
米紙ウォール・ストリート・ジャーナル（ＷＳＪ）は３０日、オープンＡＩが新たな資金調達ラウンドで約４００億ドルを調達する方向で、ソフトバンクＧと交渉しており、企業価値は最大３４００億ドルと評価される見通しだと報じた。
