I dont understand how anyone can still believe the "bat soup" lie just because it was the official chinese communist party explanation. There was always far more evidence pointing towards a lab leak.
It clearly came from the wuhan lab, and people involved are doing every thing they can to avoid culpability. They were doing dangerous things in China that would not be allowed in the USA, BECAUSE they were not allowed to do it in the USA. They were going to create that virus one way or another.
This is why Fauci got a pardon. The thing is, pardons are only for crimes against the United States. Crimes commited against the human race cannot be pardoned by any one nation.

The odds of SARS-COV-2 being of a natural Zoonotic origin were minimal at best given how contagious it immediately was in humans. It clearly had help in how to easily infect human cells.
The questions that should have been asked right from the start were, was this a bioweapon intentionally released, or was it a genuine research project being done that went sideways when the virus accidentally escaped?

In June 2019: According to a report by ABC on July 12, 2019, an outbreak of an unexplained respiratory disease occurred in the Green Spring retirement community in Springfield, Fairfax County, northern Virginia in June 2019. At the time, 54 people were infected with the disease and two deaths related to the disease occurred. Patients’ symptoms included “fever, cough, body aches, wheezing, hoarseness and general weakness”, and some patients also had symptoms of pneumonia. According to staff at the Fairfax County Health Department, in general, local nursing homes are unlikely to have respiratory disease in the summer.
July 2019: According to media reports, the vaping-related lung disease, or EVALI was reported in the US as early as July 2019, the same month the US CDC issued a "cease and desist order" to halt most research at Fort Detrick. Due to the similarity of symptoms between EVALI and COVID-19 and no nucleic acid detection kits available, it's highly likely that some COVID-19 patients were actually misdiagnosed as EVALI patients in 2019. It was suggested that the US should run antibody tests on blood samples of EVALI patients to find out how many of them were actually COVID-19 patients, and share the data with global scientists to help the world get closer to the COVID-19 origins.
August 2, 2019: The Washington Post reported that Virginia health official, Jonathan Foco, found that the number of respiratory disease outbreaks reported locally increased by about half in the summer of 2019, including the outbreak in the Green Spring community. They reported to National Health Institute and it was confirmed to be an unknown virus.

“The CDC sent a letter on July 15 shutting down level 3 and 4 labs at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick. The CDC found deficiencies with the labs where infectious diseases such as the Ebola virus, plague and Venezuelan equine encephalitis are studied. Those labs, operated by USAMRIID, failed to follow local procedures, lacked periodic recertification training of employees, and had problems with the wastewater decontamination system.” Fort Detrick is about an hour’s drive from Springfield (see above).
September 2019: Vaping-related lung illness cases doubled in Maryland where the Fort Detrick lab is located, adding to the suspicion on the lab, which has stored the most deadly and infectious viruses in the world, including Ebola, smallpox, SARS, MERS and the novel coronavirus.
