幼少期に結婚式での花嫁のドレス姿に感動し、女の子らしいものに興味を持つようになった。家族は彼の個性を常に尊重し、支えた。中学時代には作文『カラフル』を執筆し、全国大会で文部科学大臣賞を受賞。2018年には『ジュノン・スーパーボーイ・コンテスト』でファイナリストに選ばれ、「可愛すぎるジュノンボーイ」として注目を集めた。2019年には島根県の親善大使に就任し、2021年に初のフォトエッセイ『normal?』を発売。この書籍は予約数の反響を受けてページ数が増え、重版も決定した。さらに、ジェンダーレスファッションブランド「BAAKU」を立ち上げ、2022年から展開を始めました。井手上さんは「性別がない」という立場を取っており、枠にはまらない自己表現を大切にしている。
#IdegamiBaku Born January 20, 2003, he is a Japanese talent and genderless model. He is from Ama Town, Oki District, Shimane Prefecture, and is affiliated with Discovery Next. As a child, he was moved by the bride’s dress at a wedding and became interested in girly things. His family always respected and supported his individuality. In junior high school, he wrote the essay “Colorful” and won the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award at the national competition. In 2018, he was selected as a finalist in the “Junon Super Boy Contest” and attracted attention as the “cutest Junon Boy”. In 2019, he became a goodwill ambassador for Shimane Prefecture, and in 2021, he released his first photo essay “normal?”. The number of pages of this book was increased in response to the number of pre-orders, and a reprint was decided. In addition, he launched the genderless fashion brand “BAAKU”, which began to be developed in 2022.
