I know this is a big storm for you guys what I wouldn't give to see at least one decent snow event this year. I'm not going to hold the banner for global warming but there is surely something that has stopped the state of Maryland from getting snow. The last big measurable snow storm in Maryland was in 2016. I was conceived in the blizzard of 1966 my mom and dad had only been married shortly but since they couldn't go anywhere they decided to make a baby. I think that's one reason I'm partial to big snow.
The last good snow season that we ever had was 2010 2011 winter season. That was the year that in 2010 we had two blizzards and then after that in 2011 we were getting back to back blizzards. The state was practically shut down for 3 weeks at some point. They could not even plow our streets there was no place to put it. I just find it very peaceful from big snow is coming down. If by January we don't see any snow I am legitimately heading up towards you guys.
Happy holidays to everyone in upstate and I hope you and your family can stay home safely. I'm sure since you go through this all the time you have plenty of supplies. In Maryland when they call for snow you cannot buy any milk or toilet paper or bread. It's been like that my entire life in Maryland.
