イギリス政府は22日、22億6000万ポンド、日本円で約4400億円をウクライナ支援に充てることを決定したと明らかにしました。
凍結されたロシア資産の運用益を活用する融資で、この資金でウクライナは防空システムや大砲、軍事装備などを購入できるとしています。
G7（主要7カ国）は6月、ロシアの凍結された資産の利益を活用し、ウクライナに対して500億ドル、約7兆5000億円を融資することで合意していました。
イギリスのヒーリー国防相は「プーチンの侵略を助長した資産の利益を活用してウクライナの防衛を直接支援することになる」と述べています。
