Honestly, I know this sounds stupid but I got really upset when Pigsy started yelling at him for not being there. I didn’t want to get upset because I knew Pigsy was like MK’s father figure and was understandably angry that Monkey King wasn’t there to help him like a mentor should be. But knowing that Monkey King left because he cared about the kid and didn’t want to put him in danger just made me feel very upset that he was getting yelled at for being a “bad mentor” when all he was trying to do was protect the kid.
