女性アーティストカヴァー第一弾は…人間じゃない！日本が誇る名作アニメ『超時空要塞マクロス 愛・おぼえていますか』ヒロインのリン・ミンメイが歌う主題歌。歌が宇宙戦争を終結させる！という壮大なアニメーション。当時、国立音大生でシンガーソングライターの飯島真理さんが声優にもチャレンジ、美しい高音と可愛い容姿で人気を博した。ミンメイも飯島さんも憧れの存在です。大好きな曲ですがこの曲は自分には無理…と思っていました。でもYouTubeにアップできる日が来るとは！普段は男性アーティストの暗い曲のカヴァーが多いので(^^; 最初は躊躇しまくりでしたが、こうなったら思いっきりぶりっ子でできるだけ可愛らしく唄ってみましたｗこれがとても楽しくて！いい機会になりました！ありがとうございます。マクロスファンの方々には大人になったミンメイということでご容赦を…！ちなみにストーリー的には未沙派です(^^)

The first female artist cover is… not a human! The theme song sung by the heroine Lynn Minmay from the masterpiece anime “Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?”, which Japan is proud of. It is a magnificent animation in which a song ends a space war! At the time, singer-songwriter Mari Iijima, a student at the Kunitachi College of Music, tried her hand at voice acting, and gained popularity for her beautiful high notes and cute appearance. Both Minmay and Iijima are people I look up to.It’s a song I love, but I thought I couldn’t sing this song… but I never thought the day would come when I could upload it to YouTube! I usually do covers of dark songs by male artists (^^;) I was hesitant at first, but when it came down to it I tried to sing as cutely as possible with all my cutesy acting lol it was a lot of fun! It was a great opportunity! Thank you. For all you Macross fans, please forgive me for this being an adult Minmay…! By the way, I’m on Misa’s side in terms of the story (^^)
