Weird question. Do you think Yugiri was a Ninja? That’d explain how she always kept a cool head, had some form of combat training (even though Ninja skills were primarily used for escaping), kept a short blade within her guitar to be able to used at all times, and if Gaijin Goomba taught me anything, is that some ninjas don’t always wear ninja outfits, but rather disguise themselves as ordinary folk to hide in plain sight.
yugiri (and tae probably due to her demon buster past ) are the best death ever in the anime we feel the legendary part and why their life changed all the country
I loved her in season 1 even though she was quite secondary. With this season, she was incredible. This character is really different and leaves a long lasting impression. Truly the gem of zombieland saga.
Even in death, she shed no tear, no fear still calm and collected. She knew what she was doing and she knew she was doing it right. The amount of confidence, bravery is sheer amazing.
When you read a bit more about history and how we came to an age were in most of the world women like Yugiri aren't held in bondage and traded like stock and girls like Lily aren't openly persecuted and stoned to death you know that at least in a certain measure the dreams of Kiichi and others like him have come true.
I've been holding back from watching this episode and so on for more than 2 months lol, even though this is the thing i've been waiting for the most (including Tae's past)
I was satisfied that she got to have an awesome, selfless and heroic death instead of a stupid, unexpected or accidental one like the rest of the group. It's still sad to think Kiichi lived the rest of his life without learning about her fate though.
At that time, if one were to lie about one's sex, the head will be cut off. Lying is considered dishonorable. That is probably why Yuugiri is fine with Lily Hoshikawa having a different name since samurai can have different names.
This two parter made one thing very clear. Yamada Tae is not the only legendary one in this group. Also, her performance of Saga Jihen at the end of this episode was freakin' lit.

I like her "ara ara" vibes. So mature.

Of all the ways these girls have died, Yugiri's is by far the coolest!
Yugiri is the one who had a very dark past than the other girls
