藤井聡太八冠（21）に、5年ぶりの名人復帰を狙う豊島将之九段（33）が挑む名人戦七番勝負。第1局の2日目は、11日午前9時に始まりました。
対局は互角のまま終盤へともつれ込みますが、藤井八冠が141手で制し、初防衛に向け白星スタートを切りました。

「内容的には結構押されている時間が長い将棋だったと思うので。まずはしっかり振り返って、それをまた次局につなげられればと思います」
この勝利で藤井八冠はタイトル戦での連勝を16に伸ばし、歴代最多タイの17連勝にあと1勝と迫りました。
名人戦第2局は、今月23日と24日に行われます。
