The Inside Out 2 trailer has sparked a big debate suggesting that Riley might be, and here’s why. In a short film released after the original Inside Out, Riley goes on a date with a boy. Plus, Inside Out 2 is diving into the topic of, a time when many people start questioning their due to the changes they’re experiencing. This could explain Riley’s mixed-gender emotions, hinting at her being attracted to both guys and girls. Now, let’s break it down: Riley’s got these new emotions, right? And one of them, Envy, seems to pop up when she’s around this new girl. Envy’s all about wanting what someone else has, which could totally be a sign of a crush. Riley’s feeling all embarrassed, stressed, and anxious, but also kinda bored when the girl’s not around, as the trailer suggests, it could all point to having a crush. Looks like this film might dive into the whole deal of Riley grappling with her feelings and possibly hurting her friends in the process. And that could be why they’re giving so much focus to this girl in the trailer. Do you think Riley might be into girls in this new movie?

  1. Reminder that Riley lives in San Francisco. Straight is a minority in SFO.

  2. Meh… I'll probably scim this just like any other you burnt to cook let alone to know your emotions, but hey I live to a smart-a** and downer.

But hey it's the 2020's everyone wants to pretend and be controlled.

  3. Bro, why does Disney have to ruin every movie that was good. At this point, don't even have a relationships in kid movies anymore 😭😭

  4. Hey if Disney was actually going to meaningfully explore a queer story I’d be invested (since it’s be so unlikely) cuz rn the sequel is looking like writers clutching at straws for a new storyline. However. This is disney.

  5. The comments are giving homophobia like y’all really scared of any hint of the Gays tm

(Not that I think the movie’s gonna be queer, since Disney will always be more homophobic than you lot ngl, it’s just funny that the reason why y’all think she can’t be bi, is bc teens apparently can only know they’re straight and never queer)

  6. It’s a nice theory, but in my opinion it should stay a theory. The topic of questioning one’s sexuality would be great to be explored, but it just doesn’t fit with the film. It seems to be more centered around a platonic theme, and just trying to fit in. I say this as a panromantic.

  7. It sounds like he cooked, but think about it. She just wants to fit in with the cool kids.

  8. Meh, this might be the first Disney theory that i think might be possible. While it still seems like a bit of stretch, i can't deny that the only other times we got glimpse into other peoples head, their emotion were all the same gender as them. Riley really is the only one we've seen with mixed gender emotions. So……maybe?
