第370回は、芸能生活20周年を迎えた”しょこたん”の愛称で知られる中川翔子が初登場。
披露するのは、2007年にTVアニメ『天元突破グレンラガン』OPテーマとしてリリースされ、海外での人気も高い「空色デイズ」。
「第58回NHK紅白歌合戦」にも初出場となった代表曲ともいえる本楽曲を、スペシャルバンドアレンジにて、一発撮りでパフォーマンスする。

Episode 370 welcomes Shoko Nakagawa, aka Shokotan, to THE FIRST TAKE for the first time. Shokotan is currently celebrating her 20th anniversary in the entertainment industry.
She will perform “Sorairo Days,” a song popular in Japan and internationally as the opening theme to the 2007 anime TV series Gurren Lagann.
Enjoy this one-shot performance featuring a special band arrangement of her iconic song that had previously earned her a spot on the 58th NHK Red & White Year-end Song Festival.

I just watched Childhood's End for the 15th anniversary in theaters and god damn, I got the same goosebumps and felt the same hype and emotions as I did on my first watch. Gurren Lagann will be a timeless anime, and forever holds a place in the hall of fame imo. My personal favorite and damn is it the greatest thing I have experienced to date.
