This might be the one time Godzilla has been hurt this badly. I know Shin was, but this felt more likely to seriously hurt, or maybe even kill him if the third bomb had hit.
Man seeing that part where those bombs hit Godzilla in the back causing him to bleed from his back reminded me of that scene from Shin Godzilla where the U.S. Air Force hit him with those M.O.P.S. in the exact same way man that was freaky.
Man as far as I know Shin Godzilla and Godzilla Terrestris are the only incarnations of Godzilla where they were actually wounded enough from Human weapons that made them bleed and all it took was hitting them on the back near the dorsal spines.

@PeacockZilla my theory is that the song was used to calm Godzilla and put him into a deep sleep
