Before I ever began watching these tsunami videos I was under the impression that the people of Japan were very intelligent people. But upon watching dozens of these videos I no longer believe that to be true. Well, smart maybe, but absolutely ZERO COMMON SENSE! When you live somewhere with a history as old as theirs is, and with a history of severe earthquakes resulting in tsunamis, for that many people to be caught in it is just ridiculous. They usually have a good 20-30 mins before a tsunami hits, but do they run for higher ground as soon as the ground stops shaking? NOPE! They either go for a stroll to check out the damage in town, or go home to clean up. But the most asinine thing they do is GO DOWN TO THE WATERS EDGE TO STARE AT THE RECEDING, AND INCOMING WATER UNTIL THEY HAVE TO RUN FOR THEIR LIVES!!! I don't care how smart you are if you lack common sense you're F**KED! Go ahead & watch a few of these & tell me you don't want to reach through the phone, or computer screen & just slap some of them for being so DUUUH! You'll see the water destroying everything, but a few streets over people are walking around with their hands together behind their backs on a f**king Sunday walk, or driving around for work! DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!!!!! 5000 f**king years & they don't know to go to safety after an earthquake? DUMB!!! Unnecessary losses of life piss me off! Especially when people value their material possessions before their own lives!!!!
