  3. I have seen Hawaii University before and I know they are the best university volleyball team in America, and I’m pretty excited to see this match.

Edit: I didn’t realize that Maki is at Tsukuba University

  4. anyone know why theyre playing each other? never thought id see hawaii playing outside of the US

  5. #s 1 and 6 of Hawaii were the shortest I think with the exception of the libero, but were the best in their team. Their spikes are strong and can jumps high. They move fast too and can block.

  8. First, thank you for uploading such an interesting game! As other Japanese comments mentioned, the height of the sets from Hawaii equalled its speed, so Tsukuba's blockers didn't seem to catch up. But still, Tsukuba retaliated with their nationally famous attackers. Fans in Japan could feel the game was worth watching, at least being able to know that those attackers are internationally competent😀

  9. Hawaii's setter is bad overall. He's slow and can't really move that quick. His defense is almost non-existent. lol He's just tall. That's all. And he's a setter which really doesn't mean much since I'm sure Hawaii can find a better setter. Japan's setter is quick and has amazing hands. ON top of that, his defense and set choices are deceiving.
