0:29 It's definitely proved Monkey King is MKs father enemas far as I can tell this lady is his mother. Or his grandmother since Wukong was not only created by a stone but a piece of the goddess who Sacrificed herself to patched up the sky. He is a being born of both heaven and earth.
this woman who is holding a small stone monkey must be the one who creates the animal forms, the MK was supposed to be a monkey but his stone broke making him a human with monkey king powers, we only know so far that Sun Wunkong is involved in all of it.
Y'all wukong is not mk's father someone explained on Twitter that he's been forcing himself to find mk in the scroll and he keeps coming the stone and the lady we saw probably she's the one who creates mk 😭
I think nuwa (this lady name) give physical body and while monkey king give part of his chi. And combine them, they create new monkey king and that which is mk. 0:25
(I think they could potentially be mk family or mk brother and mother)
"Not running a charity here.." Pigsy says in the first episode or movie. Taking in child that happened to be wondering around and coming out of nowhere, giving him clothes, food and possibly a bath just because seems like Charity to me. Guessing he expects MK to work hard as a means to thank him for everything he's done for him. I believe MK is related to Wukong in some way. Perhaps he is his father cause a bit of Wukong went into MK's making.
Well we don't know who really is responsible for the birth of MK we don't really know where he came from or who was family is the only thing he remembers is from some kind of stone and he was born from some kind of monkey statues or something but he doesn't resemble monkey King at all for some reason the only thing I know is that he was born from somewhere but he doesn't remember who he was covered in mud and he was just a baby he was already walking and then he was taken in by pigsy and he's been raising him like a protege but there must be some reason why he has such a strong connection to monkey King even though he's not actually his father
Ok, MK was born from the same stone as Sun but how did he get down the mountain to Pigsy's shop? Did Sun drop him off or did MK just randomly appear there or what? This is how I think it happened. The stone gave birth to MK, Sun Wu Kong sensed it give birth again (it's literally his stone so how could he not) and brought MK to be with other humans because he didn't know what MK was and thought being with other humans would be better than just letting him grow up with him and the other monkeys. MK found himself in front of Pigsy's shop because reasons and Pigsy took him in because Pigsy is just a really nice guy. There's a theory that MK is one of the celestial primates, and it makes sense since we've seen two of them with Monkey King and Macaque with the others being the Long armed Gibbon and the Red Buttocks Baboon. I don't know how Sun is related to MK but I do think he knows MK came from the stone and just left him with humans to see what happened next, he was clearly following MK around before he met him. Maybe Sun was appearing in those visions like that to lead MK to the truth because he felt like it was time. I don't think Sun is his bio dad but is definitely connected in some way. Either way, I think MK is going to keep switching between those two forms painfully until he finds out the whole story.
I initially thought MK was going to be one of the other two of the four Celstial Primates. But given how he may have been born from the same Rock that Wunkong was born from its entirely possible that the concept of MK’s character is based of the Character Sun Luzhen. He appears in one of the unofficial sequels of the Journey to the West called the Later Journey of the West. Sun Luzhen was said to be the spiritual descendant of Wukong and is even classified as a stone monkey like Wukong since he was born from the same rock as Wukong and have all the same powers. I believe he gets the staff as well at one point. Luzhen even goes on his own journey with the Son of Pigsy and the Student of Sandy. Which is kinda similar to how MK goes on adventures of two people who maybe either Descendants or Reincarnations of the original Pigsy and Sandy from the Journey. At first glance with the Goddess who was created the stone figures maybe a creation Goddess Nuwa who carved people and animals out of clay because she was lonely.
If I was to guess if this is Nuwa she may have saw Wukongs loneliness and decided to creat another stone Monkey and placed it in the same Rock. Weather she put him in a stone egg like Wukong or not is unknown.
The same power that created Wukong would have Zapped the Rock over time like Wukong. But it’s seems to imply that MK was born prematurely. And whatever force forced him out to early damaged the stone carving. Which made look human and not monkey. So MK born as a child maybe toddler aged unlike Wukong full grown, erupted from the stone and Landed outside Pigsy Noodles covered in what looks like mud and dirt but can mostly like be clay. MK was born with just much understanding as a being of a young child but not completely understanding his origins.
Maybe the force of MK’s Birth was so great it shooked the mountain and it took Wukong awhile to find him or Wukong unaware of any of this used his gold vision randomly in the city while looking for food and spotted a kid who had powers just to similar to himself and decided to watch over him.
Funny thing, the ad that plays before the episode for me starts with the words " Every stone has a story to tell". Which I find hilarious considering the content of this video.😂

honestly i rlly hope we learn more about this either in the season 4 special (if there is one) or season 5, but my god this scene is great, the voice acting is really good, i love the music, the bit with pigsy almost made me cry – i really cant decide if this is the best season of this show, like itt is a really contender against season 3…
Ok, so apparently the lady in his vision is a celestial named Nuwa who sculpted creatures from clay. Let's assume that Sun had absolutely no idea until he was sucked into the scroll about MK being made from the same stone as him. Which means that Nuwa for some reason took bits of the stone to make MK for reasons and for some reason made him look human despite sculpting him as a monkey.
The story now is at the point where the hero asks the question we all ask (Who Am I?) though the origin of where we come from is important at some point, it’s not what defines us
I'm REALLY surprised that NO ONE has brought up the fact that his origin story kinda parallels how Goku from Dragon Ball came to be. The concept of the Legend of Son Wukong is present in both stories. MK was "born" from a stone in the celestial world, sent to the mortal realm and was found by an old man; Goku was sent from space (the heavens), sent to earth and was found by an old man.
The concept of being bonked on the head came up in both shows too. Goku was rowdy and uncontrollable as a baby, but after an accident where he hit his head after falling into a canyon, he completely changed and was a happy, caring kid. Pigsey brought up the concern about what could happen if MK got bonked on the head, but the explanation was cut off; leading me to think that the same thing might have happened to MK when HE was a baby.
But all this speculation can be left up to the creators if they decide to explore MK's origins more.

Sometimes I think that Sun Wukong created MK to be next Monkey King. ( Just a theory, and I am not saying that Monkey King is MK's dad )
who's the lady? Gaun Yin?

My boy’s a stone baby?! THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!
I hope we learn more about MK past in the special or in season 5 🤞

Maybe like the original wonder woman Mk was made from clay, the remains of the stone Sun Wukong was born from. It looked he was covered in clay

Can someone tell me why Lego monkie kid looks like an anime show except just with Lego people?

So could MK Be either Wukongs Younger brother Or his Son?
0:07 this guy looks like sensei wu

MK is starting to unlock his true form in this show.
0:30 Wait was that lion Azure!? Was he born from a stone too!?
MK looks cute as a baby ❤😊

Let's hope for season 5 lmk bcs I want to learn mk's past and the series
What was sun wukong looking for
0:29 MK's Mother ?
0:26 what?
After seeing DC new hero, Marcus sun aka the monkie prince. I think mk is the clone/son of the monkie king. Being born through a stone.
I think that women might be Quan Yin

What's the dealio with the other stone animals🤔😐😑
That explains why he’s always so
Hard headed no pun intended
The truth can be always brutal
Name ost?
Pigsy IS MK's father
DIRT CHILD
I do hope season 5 give us The Red Baboon and The Long Armed Gibbon.

I think the one who created mk it was her, for me it was his mother probable cause she created him isn't?
To be fair, this woman is Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Pure Mercy and Compassion.
0:29 So the lady who carved the stone made MK so there for she's his mother so he's technically a son of a goddess but I don't know which one…
If he comes from the same stone as Wukong then I guess instead of being a dad, Wukong’s his older brother??
It makes so much sense rock baby has head full of rocks 😢😔
I’m here just to appreciate the cuteness of Baby MK.
