江戸時代に女子の「人形遊び」と節物の「節句の儀式」と結びつき、全国に広まり、飾られるようになり、「早く片付けないとお嫁にゆくのが遅くなる・・・」とは、しつけの例えのようです。
★ ひな祭りは、３月３日に行われます。
“Hina-matsuri (the Doll’s Festival)” is held on March 3rd.
★ それは女の子のお祭りとも呼ばれます。女の子の成長と幸福を願う日だからです。
It’s also called “the Girls’ Festival” because it’s to wish for girls’
growth and happiness.
★ 「桃の節句」 としても知られています。
It’s also known as “Momo no sekku (the Peach Festival)”.
★ 人々は５段か７段のひな壇に、平安時代の美しい古代の宮廷衣装を着た人形一式を
飾ります。
People display a set of dolls in beautiful ancient court costumes of
the Heian era on a tier of 5 or 7 shelves.
★ 内裏びな、三人官女、五人囃、右大臣・左大臣、三人仕丁です。
A set includes dairi-bina (the Emperor and Empress), three kanjo
(court ladies), five court musicians, two ministers, and three
servants.
★ 人形は人々を病気や不運から守ってくれる、と信じられていました。
It was believed that the dolls protected people from sickness or
ill-fortune.
★ 女の子は友達を招き、白酒、ひなあられ、ひし餅を食べます。
Girls invite their friends and have shirozake (sweet, mild rice wine),
hina-arare (sweet rice crackers), and hishimochi (diamond-shaped
rice cakes).
