The other person is Avu-chan from Queen Bee! She's trans 🙂 She also co-wrote the lyrics with Ryuhei. Apparently Ryuhei's been a fan of Queen Bee for a long time – last year during the Summer Sonic Festival, he got to meet Avu-chan after her performance & asked her if she'd like to appear on a talk show with him and she said yes (she later admitted she was drunk when Ryuhei came to see her lmao)— they hosted a radio show together & Avu gave him a lot of advice and discussed her musical influences with him, it was cute. This collab was a long time coming.
The lyrics are more about someone reminiscing for their childhood again & the MV makes more sense knowing that too. Avu (the adult in this case) is clearly not doing well, & she's daydreaming of running away, of "being saved" – from adulthood & all that it entails. She wants to experience childlike joy again. But it's not real & will never be- it'll just be a daydream. I think the MV ended on such a bleak but fitting note for the song!
You are correct. Another guy is Avu-Chan, a main vocal of Queen Bee. People say that Ryuhei’s voice matches with Avu chan’s, but I disagree.
I was surprised by the melody and video but it is soo cool.RYUHEI is a big fan of Avu-chan, so I've always thought that his singing style is similar!
