I personally love the ending. Despite how short the fight is, this show managed to emphasized that not all fight are worth dying especially since Joe and Mac just started to find their way back home. Chief become Hummingbird for Joe and helps Joe to get back on his feet and find his family and home back again. Mac despite all the trauma and the negativity managed to overcome all that for his family. Honestly can't wish a better ending. Perfecto!
