Yamashita made her idol debut in September 2016 after passing the audition for the third term of Nogizaka46. In addition to being an idol, she is also an exclusive model for women’s fashion magazine CanCam and made her first appearance in a terrestrial prime-time drama series in the April 2021 season with the drama Dressing in Love for a Reason. Since then, she has continued to appear in TV serials such as Soar! as well as appearances in Stand Up Start and Saraba, Kakihi (Farewell, Good Day), and has also attracted attention as an actress.
