In the first-ever meeting between the teams on American soil, 82,262 supporters were inside the MetLife Stadium, but we failed to get going after Manchester United opened the scoring through Bruno Fernandes’ long-range strike on the half-hour. Jadon Sancho doubled the lead soon afterwards and although Eddie Nketiah came close in the second-half, we tasted defeat for the first-time this close season.

    You just now realized that the importance of Xhaka contribution for the team while Kai is not able to do his job under 4-3-3 tactics. Our midifeld was always short of players (only 3) that we are even not able to create any attack to the front from our midfield. Arteta and his coaching team should seriously consider to change the tactics from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 to ensure thatwe have an enough number of players to balance the attack and defense and game control of midfield movement.

    Their team only switched goalies and added Mount while we had an entire midfield rewamp two weeks ago and played guys who return from injuries. Of course we'd get knackered. Funny to see Ten Hag treating this like a FA Cup finale though, I see 7-0 did nothing to humble him.
