Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh, has been laid to rest at Windsor Castle.

The service was a slimmed-down version of what had been planned. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was entirely closed to the public.

    I would like to see Prince Philip live at least a year longer, so he could live to see both the Queen's platinum jubilee, and their two excepted great-grandchildren Lilibet (born 2 June 2021; barely a week before the day Philip should become a centenarian if living) and Princess Beatrice's daughter (born 18 September the same year).
    Just 17 months later, even the Queen died. 🙁

    Rest in peace, both Prince Philip and Elizabeth II!

    My feelings of devastation go out to the Royal Family of His Majesty Wilhelm I and His Imperial Majesty Wilhelm II on the death of the cousin twice removed of Peter Phillips' and Autumn Kelly's two children. My prayers are with the Senior and Junior Royals, The Dukes and Duchesses of York and Sussex and their linear descendents, and every member of the descendents of The German Royal Family in honour of the late Margrave of Baden.

    It is a shame that he died but again he and the queen did cover up the rumors and suspicions that were surrounding the whole royal family. And didn’t really help Meghan when she had to deal with the hurtful rumors about her and her family. So it’s understandable why she fled to canda with her son and husband. But my final message is don’t judge a book by their covers because they might have some hidden pages we can’t see.

    The queen went downhill rapidly after the loss of her husband. She faded before our eyes. She was a fantastic monarch. The best we’ve had.

    Please remember, that on the night before this funeral, in Number 10 Downing Street they were having a booze up party, which was a drunken mess, where those involved broke a child's swing in the garden. Of course breaking the government Covid restrictions and rules. Never forget that.
