Next up for Top Rank Boxing, Luis Alberto “El Venado” Lopez may have to start calling himself “The Road Warrior.” Lopez will make the first defense of his IBF featherweight world title against Michael “Mick” Conlan on Saturday, May 27, at The SSE Arena in Conlan’s hometown of Belfast.
Lopez captured the title last December, venturing to Josh Warrington’s home base of Leeds, England, to grind out a majority decision.
Lopez-Conlan and undercard bouts will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+ in the United States. BT Sport will broadcast the event in the UK and Ireland.

As a Mexican boxing fan i can honestly say the future looks bright for boxing…need better more competent judges but with fights like these, you don't need judges ✌️👍.naoya and junto are the future of japanese boxing… I always thought kameda would be great aswell but i guess he fell of or something..love their styles…very fan friendly. All that being said, i hope Maloney is getting taken care of..that punch was hard to watch but the way his head hit the canvas is worse…this sport is not for everyone…respects to both for having the balls to get in there knowing something like this can and will happen.

He fights with a certain level of calmness about him. He is very controlled and technical. With very surprising power. If he was just a tiny bit more aggressive. Just a little bit. This guy would be unstoppable. He should watch a couple Pacquiao fights overall a fantastic fighter. 8/10

That knock out should not have happened. Moloneys team should have thrown the towel when he got dropped previous. That KO looks like it is a devastating KO that will effect Moloney for the rest of his career.
