実力はもちろん、そのビジュアルでも人気が高く、多くのファンを抱えたバレー選手です。
父・母・姉もバレー選手というバレーボール一家で育ち、小学4年生の時にバレーボールを始めました。
2018年5月、惜しまれながらも20年に渡る現役生活を引退しました。

Maiko Kano played volleyball for the Japanese national team.
Born on July 15, 1988, she is 185 cm and 68 kg.
She is a popular volleyball player not only for her ability but also for her visual appeal, and has a large fan base.
She grew up in a volleyball family where her father, mother, and older sister are also volleyball players, and she started playing volleyball when she was in the fourth grade.
In May 2018, she regrettably retired after 20 years of active service.
