経営破綻の暗号資産大手「FTX」創業者バハマで逮捕　米政府要請で｜TBS NEWS DIG



経営破綻した暗号資産の交換業大手「FTXトレーディング」の創業者が中米バハマで逮捕されました。

バハマの警察当局に12日逮捕されたのは、暗号資産の交換業大手「FTXトレーディング」創業者のサム・バンクマンフリード容疑者（30）です。

詳しい容疑の内容は公表されていませんが、バハマの司法長官はアメリカから容疑に関する正式な通知を受け取っていて、身柄の引き渡しが要求される可能性が高いとしています。

ニューヨーク南部地区の連邦検事は今回の逮捕はアメリカ政府の要請で行われたものだと明らかにしました。

暗号資産業界で過去最大規模の経営破綻といわれるFTXトレーディングをめぐっては、多額の資産流出や破綻に連鎖した信用不安が広がる可能性が指摘されています。
