Still weaving my way through this year's competition, but Aimi's performances have moved me the most, especially her preludes and this polonaise. Will definitely be following her and am excited to see what's next.
What a breathtaking perfomance, thank you for your presence in this edition and trying again. Please never deprive the world or yourself of showing your talent.
It is a very wonderful performance that sings a bright, light and gorgeous polonaise with a pianissimo that gently flows through the delicate Chopin.
Aimi is back to not only convince but to reexplain ; and the jury accepts her this time. So why did they not see the inner voice of Chopin in her playing before? This young promising music woman has more than all the other competitors to show. Do you hear what i am saying Martha Argerich>? But you are still my idol though Martha, Love you.!

Its difficult to not feel with Aimi. Every note just arrive and I can feel everything. Thankyou Aimi for interpretations we Will never forget 😭🤗😍

she looks playing this program with…quite pureness, really enjoying to play…like a small girl under stduying piano with joynous. i really like her piano especially this polonese. this is really Aimi rather than Chopin.

この曲最高の演奏。
この演奏を同時視聴していたけど、勝手に涙が出てきました。気迫も感じながら、繊細な演奏…聞きながらどこか違う世界に引き込まれて、心が震えました。悔しいのは、生で聞きたかったな。この演奏に出会えて本当に良かった…ありがとうございます！是非音源化を待ってます！笑
旋律がなんてセンチメンタルなんだろう。彼女の繊細なフレージングにより哀しくも力強いショパンの詩情が歌われますね。愛美さんは素晴らしい表現者だなぁとつくづく思う。

The fact that Kobayashi was awarded only the fourth ex aequo prize in this contest shows that the results of these contests almost never reflect the artistic quality or musical stature of their participants.
