1984年6月19日生まれ、187cm 84kg。
力強いスパイクを武器に「パワフルカナ」の愛称で親しまれ、日本を代表するプレーヤーとして活躍した選手です。
高校在学中に日本代表に選出され、オリンピック・世界選手権・ワールドカップと三大大会すべてに出場。
2010年6月に現役を引退、現在は2児の母となり、バレーボール界の発展に力を注いでいます。

Born on June 19, 1984, she is 187 cm, 84 kg.
Nicknamed “Powerful Kana” for her powerful spikes, she was a player who represented Japan well.
