  4. I remember when this happened, it was shocking and scary, even thousands of miles away in Virginia. I can’t imagine how terrifying it must have been for the people of Japan. I was 11 years old, and I remember my school holding an assembly and fundraiser to help with the recovery, it was heartbreaking.
