What does Tears of the Kingdom’s Ouroboros symbol mean? Could this game be the end of the Zelda timeline?

Hylia/zelda as a being seems to be indeed a paradox but her names are the most paradoxal because hylia name could origins from hyrule but what about zelda, is there a Zelda name origin maybe a country too( Zerule, Zeldlia, Aelda>Zelda) was it random or maybe her true name is Zelda and Hylia was just for the history books idk.
Zeltik theories just hit different.
I've been thinking about this theory since the second teaser came out. Thank you for talking about this
It won't be the last game in the series on the timeline there are a few missing events that we don't know about so story wise this could be the final story it's looking that but who knows maybe the next Zelda game will take place 400 years after TOTK at this point anything is possible to happen. The series will be 40 years old soon wow .
When the Forest Temple bass drops, Zeltik changes songs 😂
I once thought about it, does totk maybe explain why Zelda has the whole triforce? I always interpreted the image as showing zelda above malice, extracting his part. And do we even know if link is still the "original" heroes soul? After countless cycles, even the hero and the Zelda would seek for a permanent solution. Its very far fetched, but just for the sake of it im going to throw it out there: the spiral and hand could be the remaining idea of the hero. Keeping ganon in check physically forever so the princess can take care of the essence.
this video changed the course of my life
i got instant depression from the title
Haha the end until the next nintendo console comes out
Absolutely beautiful video. 10/10. This is the best theory I've ever seen and I pray to God you're correct about this, because it would be a perfect ending to a perfect series of games.
Hopefully it’s the end of THIS Zelda!!! We’ve never had so many years/games with the same exact Hyrule and Link… BoTW, Hyrule Warriors, ToTK… and it’s my least liked story/game of the ENTIRE series 🤢🥵
I’m ready for this stoRy to end! I want a new Zelda with better controller/gameplay mechanics.. I’m tired of this Shiekah plate 💩 and the stamina bar Al together!!!! 🤬👎🏻
OK, I like the theory of Zelda becoming Hylia but I am kinda surprised you didn't mention how Ganondorf has been through his own series of transformations and would become his own Demise.
Could the two dragon ouroboros (logo) represent link / ganon and the two headed dragon (door) represent zelda / hylia?
This makes me even more excited for ToTK
Awesome video, thanks
I think we might get to see the goddess Hialeah and actualform in this game I'm really looking forward to it
This is pretty much EXACTLY what I've been thinking about this new one. That this one will be the ending AND the beginning of the timeline creating a circle/cycle.
I like it. It would be great to remove that idea that the games are just irrelevant and never-ending. It would also allow some great games for other Link-based objectives: another Majora, etc.
Zelda becoming Hylia again could really hit you in the feels if she has to say goodbye to link. Kinda like the part in skyward sword but worse
As long as there will be a market for it it won't end
Best thing about zelda is it can continuously go on due to it being in various timelines etc
