STORYLINE
YUTAKA TAKENOUCHI MOBBED IN HONG KONG
With more than 20 television dramas under his belt, Yutaka Takenouchi is one of the most popular actors in Asia.
The actor attended the launch of a new fashion store in Hong Kong on Monday (12 APRIL 2010) and was mobbed by hundreds of fans who turned out to catch a glimpse of the star.
It”s Takenouchi first visit to Hong Kong.
Takenouchi debuted as an actor and model in 1994. His starring roles in “Star”s Coin” (1995), “Long Vacation” (1996) and “Beach Boys” (1997) catapulted him to stardom making him a big star across Asia.
The actor also starred alongside Hong Kong actress Kelly Chen in “Calmi Couri Appassionati” (2001) and Korean actress Choi Ji-woo in “Rondo” (2006). Both projects helped him break into the international market.
