Office worker Yoshida has been crushing on his coworker, Airi Gotou, for five years. Despite finally scoring a date with her, his confession is promptly rejected. Drunk and disappointed, he stumbles home, only to find a high school girl sitting on the side of the road. The girl, needing a place to stay the night, attempts to seduce Yoshida. Despite rejecting her advances, he nevertheless invites her into his apartment.
The next morning, the girl, introducing herself as Sayu Ogiwara, reveals that she has run away from Hokkaido all the way to Tokyo. During her six-month spree, she continually traded sexual favors for a roof over her head. Yoshida, however, remains unswayed by her seduction. Instead, he has her do a different kind of work—one that entails washing dishes and doing laundry. And so, a touching relationship between a heartbroken adult and a runaway high school girl begins.

Man this anime at first I thought uhh.. another weird echii big bro step sis shit with overusing fanservice and a lazy story. But after watching it all the things I said were twisted. A teen with her fragile heart tainted tries to run from her problems, sad runs in more ruin that affects her mind and growth getting her in a stage of accepting the bad parts of reality as how the world works. Later gets her life fixed by this man that does things that he thinks is right and and she help him having a spark in his life that makes him more open to himself and others and basically awaken his father instinct. It feels very real. I wanna ad, this is probably the only anime that I find the fanservici not invasive is actually part of showing how bad the girl's mind went down, the denying temptation of the man, because how I like to say "he think with his head and not the other head". It's so beautiful I can't give enough praise, wish more short serie animes were like this and more people liking this one.

I assume at the end of the anime Sayu starts living with Yoshida from then on because theres no way she's going back to her mom's house and now that she is a adult she moved out to his place… But thats just assuming
