俳優の斎藤工さんが、企画・ストーリーの原案・脚本を務めるクレーアニメ「映画の妖精 フィルとムー」（仮題）が制作されることが7月24日、分かった。同日、東京都内で行われた「クレーアニメ制作応援プロジェクト発表会」が行われ、出席した斎藤さんは、クレーアニメの企画やストーリーに関わるのは「初めてです。結構大変」と苦笑交じりに明かし、物語については「3～5分ぐらい。フィルとムーという可愛いキャラクターが出てきて、ジャングルに行ったり、旅をするというような作品」と構想を明かした。
同アニメは、斎藤さんと女優の板谷由夏さんが司会を務めるWOWOWの映画情報番組「映画工房」が、今秋で放送300回目を迎える記念として制作され、今年10月に行われる番組の公開収録イベントで上映される予定。斎藤さんと、主にカンボジアで移動映画館を開催する活動を行っているNPO団体「World Theater Project」の教来石小織さんの企画で、アニメの声は斎藤さんと板谷さんが担当する。
発表会には、斎藤さん、板谷さん、教来石さんらが出席。斎藤さんは「世界中の子供たちが見られるように（クレーアニメのせりふは）せりふというより、感情の声になると思います」と説明し、「キャラクターが可愛いので独り歩きしてくれれば」と期待を込めた。また、クレーアニメの声優に初挑戦するという板谷さんは「2人とも（フィルとムーを）やってみようかって話し合っています。両方、工君がやるか、両方、私かもしれない（笑い）」と語っていた。
「映画工房」はWOWOWシネマで毎週月曜午後8時45分から無料放送。

Takumi Saito- First trying at planning and scripting for clay animation
The production of the clay animation “Elves of Phil and Mu” whose story plan and script was done by Takumi Saito, was announced on July 24th.

This animation is a work to commemorate the WOWOW movie introduction show Eiga kobo’s 300th episode broadcasted in this autumn, hosted by Takumi Saito and actress Yuka Itaya. It is expected that the film will be shown in the public recording event of the program held in October this year.
