Wait, what? The two women on the roof survived?!? I remember seeing them in another video, taken from a taller concrete building 50-100 meters away, already knee deep in water ( https://youtu.be/1ikus_TEaGI?t=84 ) looking rather resigned to their fate. I was sure that they were taken by the black water but now, having seen this video, I know what I'm looking for ( https://youtu.be/1ikus_TEaGI?t=193 ) I can see they had literally inches between life and death. Amazing.
Я другое видео видела где эта женщина спаслась…но это видео подобнее снята как все было..несказанно повезло ей !!! РS. Там еще парень на крыше оставался тоже спасся..выжил. Страшная картина…
Me alegro que ambas estén vivas y un hijo saca fuerzas de donde sea para salvar a su madre ,en otro video no corrieron con la misma suerte ,me apena ese video de dos personas con silla de rueda donde una solo pudo salvarse y la otra fue arrastrada junto a las personas que la estaban ayudando 😓

I don't know Japanese, but thanks to this video I understand that two people who I had thought were swept away by this horrific tsunami, miraculously survived. Another man who was on a roof to the right of this couple's house was swept away. I have always hoped that he, too, survived. I greatly admire and respect the resilient, mutually supportive, courageous people I have seen in these videos. I am very sorry for all that they lost.

不謹慎だけど同じように生きようとして
結局瓦礫に挟まれたり引き波で沖に流れたりして人知れず亡くなった人もたくさんいるんでしょうね。かなり無念だったろうなぁ。

映画やドラマじゃなく実際にこんな場面に遭遇するなんてどれだけ恐怖やっただろ。
助かって本当に良かったですね。
なんだこりゃ。映画にするためのネタ選びかなんかか？ただのスペクタクル狙いの動画にしかなってない。危機感も判断力も知恵もなくただ単に逃げ遅れて、助かったのは全くの偶然ていう人間ばかりじゃないか。母数が何千といりゃそんな偶然で助かった人間はいるだろうが、そんな人間ばかり取材してどうすんだ。なんの参考にもなりゃしない。それよりもさっさと高台に逃げて危機一髪どころか命の危険なんか全く味わわなかった人間を取材しろよ。現に、この動画じゃカットされてるけどずっと先に足腰弱ってるだろうお年寄りがそれでもえっちらおっちらと何人もこれを撮ったのと同じ高台に上がってきてた。そういう人の行動こそ本当に参考にすべきだろ。テレビ局の人間も判断おかしくなってたんだな。

今日で10年。
当時高校生で非現実的というか
信じられずどこか他人事のような
気がしていましたが
1年後宮城に進学し
県内在住の地元民たちから
沢山の悲しいお話や経験談を聞き
想像を遥かに超えていて
愕然としました。
それでも復興に向けて
前を向いて歩んでいる被災された方々が
とてもたくましいです。
忘れない。
この震災から得られる教訓や反省を見捨てるわけにはいかない。

想定をはるかに上回る未曾有の災害が降りかかってきた場合、茫然としてしまい適格な判断も難しくなり、初動も遅れ、まずいと思った頃には手遅れだったなんてのは十分考えられます。少しの運だけが明暗を分けることも。自分がその状況にいたら果たしてどうだったろうかと、いつも思います。
まず、高台に避難してください。本当に動かないのは一番アウト。車で逃げるのもよい対策ではありません。

流されてきた家屋の中に人がいたというのが衝撃的でした。
津波が来るで30分はあった。こんなに海沿いなのに高台に避難してないのは、そんな凄い津波来ないと思ってたからでしょう。
東日本大震災で多くの犠牲者を出しましたが、これが教訓になって今後はきっと素早い行動をとる人が増える事を願ってます。この日の事は絶対に忘れてはいけない。
