  3. I wasn't very fond of her performance from the 2015 competition, but my goodness after listening to her recent performances, I can say she is the definition of a "growing" pianist. I'm in for the ride because I can't imagine her sound speaking to the heart better than this.

  4. I couldn't understand why a young pianist can touch me so deep from beginning, until I read the life story of her teacher in Curtis. It's a story of death and resurrection. It's one of the most profound story about life I have ever read. Aimi is telling us the story each time on stage, with her beautiful fingers.

  5. I can listen to Aimi's Preludes over and over again and each time they touch a part of my soul about which I had no idea before – thank you Aimi for how beautifully you revive Chopin's music in my heart. Dziękuję – Arigatō Aimi! 🙂

  6. I’m not a classical music expert, but I feel she is giving it her all, and I respect that.

  7. Does anyone have a theory as to why she fully depressed C1 at the end of the last prelude @1:48:10?
Was she trying to avoid hitting it? Or to create some sort of resonance? What was the musical purpose?
