Makino Yui is, without any reservation, my all-time #1 seiyuu. I fell in love with her years ago when I first watched Welcome to the NHK, where she played the role of Nakahara Misaki and performed a gorgeous ending song. Did you know she’s also an accomplished concert pianist? She’s basically perfect ❤❤❤
Someday I hope to meet Makino Yui in person (still salty I missed her USA visit last year T_T), but until then I’m happy for the opportunity to cover one of her songs. Here’s my cover of the OP from Sakurada Reset, “Reset.”
This will be my final seasonal piano cover for the foreseeable future. My PhD defense is in less than a month and I’ll need to spend all my time preparing. After I graduate I’ll be doing some traveling and I’m not sure what life will throw at me after that, but I’ll be back one day (hopefully later this year)! Thanks sincerely for everyone’s support in the 5-6 years I’ve been active on YouTube ❤
