I spontaneously started crying when she began to play. Scrolled down after and saw I wasn't alone. Good to know. The arduous achievement these players attain is like having my soul fed when experiencing it.

And this performance came fourth in the competition?! That's either an extraordinary compliment to the top three or the kind of result that has you questioning the criteria of competition judging. I myself have always loved the vulnerability in Chopin's work. Her tempo/touch interpretation worked exquisitely for me. Brava Aimi.
