@Celedam And, as far as dialects go, I know how that's like. There's like 3 that I know of in the Philippines and thousands more after that. Ha ha ha! (Although, thousands is an overstatement. :P)
@emiiSAUR There are two main factors in the development of dialects, either a place is like Japan where it was hard to get from one part of the country to another or it's like how English has spread all over the world and is spoken differently by different people. Most people don't realize that there are dialects of English. Scottish English has many words (wee, laddie, lassie) that aren't in standard English but standard English speakers know them anyway. My ancestors are from Yorkshire.
