Absolutely love this club – formed in protest against the Flügels/Marinos merger and now the official the home of Japanese football legends King Kazu and Shunsuke Nakamura (combined age of 99), they are fan-focused and all about playing for the community.

The NHK Spring Mitsuzawa Stadium is a beaut, whilst it’s also always great to be sat close to the pitch and with the fans. Food was banging, as expected, as was the day as a whole.

It was a brutal match though, with heavy tackles, fights, and a deserved red for Mitchell Duke (that was never given). Great game though, and really hoping they win the league and get back to J1.

Let us know what you think, and also whether or not you want Lolo to start a sausage league…

Special shoutout too for Yokohama FC keeper Svend Broderson for the picture!

  2. Got a wee soft spot on Yokohama because of this channel. Something about the welcoming feel I get from them is nice. Hopefully I’ll see a game there
