Nuclear threats from Moscow and North Korea this week have again raised the specter of nuclear war.
During the Cold War, a doctrine called Mutually Assured Destruction kept either side from launching a nuclear missile. But some fear that Vladimir Putin might use a nuke before allowing his forces to be defeated in Ukraine as Russian forces have been losing ground.
Video of a rail line north of Moscow reportedly shows a train operated by Russian nuclear forces heading toward Ukraine.

It's probably wrong to say it this way, but this is a blessing in disguise. Nuclear threat should point us to the futility and vanity of this world, how everything we have achieved and possess can very well be wiped out in a day (just the way God's wrath works). Let this point us to the wisdom of Christ, to take up our cross, leaving everything behind and follow Christ. This way we have nothing to claim from the world anymore as we await His return, for all is given us already in the resurrection of Christ, our Lord. The hope that we will also be raised physically when the time comes. Praise be to God for releasing us from the bondage of the world, so we may obey and follow His Word in more intimacy and greater precision, convinced by His love.
A strategic set of simple EMPs would do it so why even contemplate nuclear?

The sad part is, if he uses a nuke on Ukraine, many Ukrainians will die. However, NATO will annihilate every piece of Russian military equipment in Ukraine and annihilate every Russian army fighter as well. Ukraine will have their territory back and Putin will fall. I don't want it to happen that way, but Putin should know that he will be making a lethal mistake for him and Russia if he uses a nuke.

Assuming USA and Nato does nothing to retaliate if Putin uses a nuclear weapon, then other countries will begin to use nuclear weapons. General Petraeus had said USA could take out the Russian army and its silos if Putin uses nuclear weapons. In that scenario nuclear war will break out between America and Russia. I think Russia is going to be setting a bad precedent if its uses even a small nuclear weapons. Other countries will be more likely to use them in the future
I have seen a video from live gore where ukrainian soldiers execute russian soldiers by shooting them in the legs lot of blood came out looked painful but they deserve it
