I honestly thought that the show would be pretty good but I should have known it was bad as soon as the dude in the behind the scenes made a big deal about the fact that the Black people in the show have pink palms, like that’s a weird detail to focus on when you’re showcasing a new show.
I was so disappointed with Yasuke. This was a story I was so hyped and interested to see, and they just made a cliche action anime out of it. Yasuke didn't do that, and I hate how they marketed it as such until they dropped the trailer and suddenly there's magic, shonen action shit and giant robots. Like… That's not what people wanted to see. I still think this story deserves to be told in a more grounded and historically accurate way, but after this anime that's gonna have to wait until people forget this stinker.
i think the difference is that Invincible is based on a comic book with some changes vs Yasuke having like no info the amber stuff was annoying cuz they couldve done more w her but its feels like they want us to not like her so that we are more ok w eve and mark together like in the comics which is fair cuz source material but like ehhh they couldve made her a decent character still

Just started watching your content, dropping likes on everything but my only complaint is your tone is so low that I can’t play you in 1.25 or anything.

Invincible is def better than yasuke, hate to say it. Wish it was better tbh. Will still be watching it when the next season drops.
