『ペンギン・ハイウェイ』で第42回日本アカデミー賞優秀アニメーション作品賞を受賞し、『泣きたい私は猫をかぶる』も手がけたスタジオコロリドの長編アニメーション映画第3弾。

小学6年生の航祐(こうすけ)と夏芽(なつめ)は、団地で育った幼馴染。夏休みのある日取り壊しの決まった団地で遊んでいると、不思議な現象に巻き込まれてしまう。気づくとそこは、あたり一面の大海原で──　航祐たちは元の世界に戻れるのか。ひと夏の別れの旅がはじまる。

    we now have more of an understanding on the plot, and the fact that there are other buildings supposedly drifting away somewhere. I forgot all about the trailer I watched a few months ago until I came across this video in zutomayo's channel. Cant wait!

    声の出演で俳優起用するのが悪いわけじゃないしむしろキャラを生かしてくれるのであれば誰でもいいんだけど、やっぱり話題性狙って売れっ子俳優がCVつとめるより正統派の声優揃いのアニメは良質な気がする(偏見)
    田村さんみたいなThe主人公、The少年って感じの声最高だわ
