In times like these, small insignificant unimportant problems seem to disappear. A moment of unity and brotherhood is a beautiful thing when humans are in full flight survival mode. Well done all of you heros who went toward the waves and debris to save a life. You're unbelievable.
Tsunami has to be the most destructive force on the planet. I don't know how I would react. But I have a lot of respect for Japanese people. Out of all the videos I've seen of this event, nobody panics. There is of course yelling and screaming of pain and loss but no irrationality. Just people filming to document and doing what they can to help others. That is not easy in the face of such an overwhelming and immeasurable force of nature bearing down on you, wiping away town and neighborhoods, lives and livelihoods, in seconds. God have mercy…

Scary natural disasters….
Japanese are well prepared and trained for disaster.
Incredibly harrowing to watch and think about.
I understand that thousands who managed to live are still suffering with survivor's guilt.
Is that snow?
Japanese are so composed. The woman that was rescued was trying to control her emotion and the kids didnot shout or cry
