　人気子役の本田望結さん（11）が9月19日、東京都内で行われた初主演映画「ポプラの秋」（大森研一監督）の初日舞台あいさつに出席。公開初日を迎えて「今日を迎えられてうれしいです」と笑顔を見せ、「手紙がテーマの作品です。大家のおばあさんが中村玉緒さんだったから、お母さんが大塚寧々さんだったから、そして大森監督がいたからできた作品だと思います。私が9歳のときにしかできなかった演技だとも思います」と周囲にも配慮しつつ、しっかり作品をアピールした。

　舞台あいさつには、中村さん、大塚さん、大森監督も登壇した。

　「ポプラの秋」は、世界10カ国で翻訳されている湯本香樹実（ゆもと・かずみ）さんのロングセラー小説を映画化。父親を亡くした少女が、“天国の郵便配達人”のおばあさんと出会って笑顔を取り戻していく姿を描く。少女役を本田さん、おばあさん役は中村さん、少女の母親役を大塚さんが演じている。

Popular child actress Miyu Honda (11) attended the stage-greetings event for first screening day of movie “Popura no Aki” (directed by Kenichi Omori) in which she plays the main role for the first time held in Tokyo on September 19th. On the first screening day, she showed a smile and said: “I’m glad to be welcomed today”, both expressed thought for surrounding people and firmly appeared for the work: “This work is about letters. I think that the movie success is attributed to Tamao Nakamura (playing the old landlady), Nene Ohtsuka (playing the mother) and director Omori while I only have the acting ability for the age of nine.”
