Seen a video with a Japanese guy chasing the wave and ate mud water and fence. Because he decided to chase a tsunami. It ate him. I dont know if he lived. But that was down right stupid.
Too bad there isn't a translation because those guys are utterly unable to process what's happening after the water crests the seawall. Almost as gripping as the video.
Every time you thought it couldn't get any worse, another wave came and raised the water level even higher. This should be a wake up call to everyone living in Cascadia.
There’s a video from another angle, where you find out what all the honking is about. A guy in a red car stopped on the hill to gawk. That stopped the line of cars escaping. Some people were killed at the other end of the line, because he stopped!
I wonder If these people recording this got out alive and If there any people in those buildings and houses? And the those people who where driving along side the wall probably never had a chance…So very sad…
The 1000’s of hours of recording saved from this event will be watched over and over for centuries. That second surge at 7:12 is heart stopping. How quickly it breached that wall. At 8:44, that ship sliding over the wall must draw at least 4-5 feet. It barely bumps the wall going over. There clearly a third wave at 11:54
Just like in any other natural disaster, people don't get the message. Get to high ground immediately and don't drive in storms. Very sorry for the fallen. …

Crazy how the water just tears whole steel framed buildings from their concrete foundations.
