The same people that worked on SSSS.Gridman are returning to make a new Gridman related anime in the form of SSSS.DYNAZENON. As the name suggests, the Dyna Dragon from the 1993 series will be the star of this new anime.

    The designs are a lot more fleshy than last time, I wonder how it would go. I really like the guy with the hair covering his eyes and tenga's reincarnation.

    I dunno if I'm feeling the character designs as much as the previous series but hopefully the action and story will be fun.

    Not gonna lie. This was just a bad PV. (I mean, I guess it's ok in the "We're trying to hook you in." kind of way. But bad in realizing what people are actually here for.) The whole thing is just a montage of contextless character drama about characters we don't know, capped off by a single frame of the title robot's head in a ditch it seems. Like, yes the first PV for SSSS Gridman sorta had the same contextless montage. But at least it showed some of the destruction going on, gave us a few shots of Gridman, including his iconic pose. But this? This relegated the thing most folks are likely here for, to the absolute last second of the PV. I hope the next one shows more of Dyna Dragon actually doing something.
