No. 10 seed Kei Nishikori takes on No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic in an epic US Open 2014 semifinal.
24-year-old Nishikori is looking to make history by becoming Japan’s first Grand Slam singles finalist. Having reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in 2012, this is Nishikori’s best run at a Grand Slam so far and he’ll be hoping his momentum will shock the world No. 1. 2011 champion Djokovic has reached the final in both of the previous two years and will be aiming to go one step further this time around.

Roger federer is the only extraordinary player, who has successfully defended his US open grandslam title – 6 times in a row ( year 2004 to year 2009). After this upto year 2021 each year diffeeent player is winning the title . Nobody dare defend this title. Roger is great

As incredible as this feat was to pull off this upset, it must have jinxed their match ups because since this victory, Kei has not won a match yet vs. Djokovic.

背が低いからこそ、サービスで有利がとりにくく、ショートポイントも取りにくい。長時間試合になるのは当たり前であって、怪我しやすいのもその影響だろう。そんな中トップレベルで長年活躍してるのは本当にすごい❗錦織選手は日本史上最高のアスリート。
この試合、2016のマレー戦、2018のカレーニョブスタ戦が俺の中でめちゃくちゃ感動した素晴らしい試合
