The movie “Kingdom 2: To the Faraway Land” starring actor Kento Yamazaki was released in theaters on July 15, and it got off to a rocket start, drawing 1.55 million moviegoers and grossing over 2.27 billion yen in its first 10 days of release.

　Before the film’s release, Yamazaki was reported to be dating and semi-living together with actress Suzu Hirose. It was thought that Yamazaki’s female fans would stop coming to the theater because of the news, but it had no effect at all.
