Crown Pride came to Churchill shortly after UAE a d there saying he's training well
I really want Crown Pride to win it for Japan, I'm rooting so hard for him. I hope that gate accident didn't totally scar him, lol. I'm wishing him the best. Nice video, I like your voice
Crown Pride gave me a wake up call today, April 28th, when I read that he ran a 46 1/5 bullet work. I thought he was quite slow but that could have been from the effects of the Dubai dirt track. Crown Pride certainly has a homely face, IMO, but they run with the rest of their body not their face. Besides his huge nostrils won't hurt in the air intake. He seems to have acclimated himself and is spending a lot of time out on the track. He is used to huge fields, more so than any other in this race. He did have a gate "incident" but that is understandable since he'd never heard the loud alarm go off when the gates open in his prior races. He is bred better for the distance than any of the others except for Messier.
The best finish by a UAE Derby participant is 5th by Master Of Hounds.
I feel he is a Belmont Horse rather than a Kentucky horse. He still might place though.
