Jolyne is 19 so don't worry
All I'm going to say, is that this part takes place in florida
Regarding the lawyers ears, it is more vissible in the manga. Through the chapters they get longer as a donkeys, since he is lying.
So idk about you guys, but i was confused as to why Jolyne didn't have stand. My thought process was that if DIO getting a stand caused all of Jonathan's relatives to get one as well, then why didn't Jolyne get one even though her dad had a stand? Apparently this is because Jolyne was not alive when Jotaro got his stand so she had to be pierced by the arrow to get one.
jolyne literally standing in the rain
pretz: "is she wet?"
Finally part 6, this is epic
Its funny because Jolyne was born when part 4 is happening but Jotaro never mention it.
Jolyne spells her surname as Cujoh because 1. She changed it to sound american (dumb I know), and 2. since she hated her dad, she wanted to show she's different and resents him. Makes no real sense, wish Araki didn't make it complicated
I don't think it's that the lawyer could see the thread, but he could feel that something thin was wrapping around his neck
Provavelmente sou o único brasileiro vendo esse vídeo. Vou colocar minha bandeira aqui 🇧🇷
15:19 Yeah, these characters are human–it's just that they're from Florida.
The whole purpose of Sleeping Slaves is that fate is something that although it can't be changed, you can find meaning in it to go down your own path. And the thing about JoJo's is that fate has always been there and intertwined especially against the main JoJo and the villain of each part and their duality. Parts 6-8 play on fate even more (just named differently like gravity, blessings from a saint, etc.). Diavolo more than really any villain wanted to literally manipulate fate to his own will and it's through his ability. Compared to say Dio (mainly part 3) who not only understood his fate would always be linked to the Joestar bloodline, but also accepted his fate or Kira who relied on his luck but Diavolo constantly manipulated fate (i.e., actions) to bend to him
Now outside of Sleeping Slaves mini-arc, the last battle was EXTREMELY anti-climactic but this was done on purpose and hinted as whoever controls the arrow will be unstoppable
in the manga they say the youngest guard looks like tom cruise, this means tom cruise is a jojo reference
Morioh is a fictional town in Japan, which is based on the hometown of Araki himself
2:09 ah yes, this is the moment that we JoJo fans first found out about females
Not really, it's just that Jolyne's lawyer could feel there's a thread choking him, not that he could see it
Its not the rock that was the importance but the concept of fate that it brought along with it! As for why it is in the end of Part 5 is more so I think Araki trying to setup for later in the series as some manga reader might know. The stand user literally is a mirage to Jesus christ in his design and is kinda like a guide in a way. Just know that the concept of fate in Jojo is very important.
i honestly think once you watch part 6 (until the end, like, when it comes out) youll start to like the part 5 ending, like yeah- its very awkward and all but also its thematically awesome and kinda works to explain fate, a really important thing in these last few parts, and once you get used to how it works, youll enjoy part 5 even more
Part 4 was set in the fictional town of Morioh, Japan.
11:13 Well, I mean, she hadn't gone to prison yet.
The main problem with the Part 5 ending is that it doesn't "answer" the "question" that the beginning of the story "asked". The beginning of the story is about Giorno wanting to take over the gang in order to stop or reform the drug trade, with the defeat of the boss being just kind of auxiliary to that, and the end is suddenly ALL about defeating the boss – as if that was the main goal all along – and also about fate, with Giorno taking over the gang being almost a complete afterthought that's relegated to a brief after-credits scene. We don't even know if he reforms the drug trade at all, even though that was the entire reason that the story was set in motion. That's something that has bugged me ever since I read the manga.
So, Stone Ocean takes place in "2011" but was actually written in the early 2000s
They only really said "Japanese descent". The "Japanese American" came out of the sub author's ass
Revenge story?
No my friends you have no idea what's coming up
she's 19 , and the prison is in Florida (pretty fitting to this part ngl)
Since we're talking about Jojo endings, this is my rankings for each parts endings ( no spoilers )
Worst to best
Part 5
Part 2
Part 8
Part 1
Part 4
Part 3, 6 & 7 is not fixed & definitely the top 3 endings in JoJo
Watching jolyne develop her character is the most beautiful thing about this part. She is the best Jojo in term of development along with the next 2 Jojo in my opinion
