This book approaches the face not as a fixed site of identity, but as a mutable interface\u2014an adaptive surface.It frames Tomihiro Kono\u2019s wigs as a secondary skin, blurring the boundaries between human and non-human, the individual and the system.<\/p>\n

Through human hair\u2014an intensely human material\u2014it explores forms that resemble unfamiliar organisms, specimens, or cosmic beings, producing a sense of drift between self and other, nature and artifice, body and signal. It’s a 368 page book with a sequence of face in various wigs inspired by organism forms.<\/p>\n
